Linwood O. Moulton, 75, of East Pittston Road, died peacefully at his home, Wednesday, May 30, 2018. He was born April 1, 1943 in Gardiner, son of Wilmer S. and Gladys (Mooers) Moulton. Upon graduating from Gardiner Area High School in 1961, he joined the US Navy, serving from 1961-1966.

Linnie was employed by Gardiner Fuel Company, Williams Construction and Sparrow Trucking before joining Blue Seal Feeds, Inc. in 1971 where he was Mill forman until his retirement in 2005. He married Carol A. Chaput on December 1, 1961. They had 36 years together before her death on January 5,1998.

Together they had 3 children whom survive him; Brenda L. Thompson, her husband Peter; Tina M. Moulton, and Richard H. Moulton, all of Pittston. He is also survived by 3 grandsons; Brandon Thompson of Pittston, Taylor Thompson of Hampton, VA. and Jamie Moulton of Bangor.

Other survivors include his siblings; Wilmer F. Moulton and his wife Tanya, Clifford E. Moulton and his wife Carol, Leah J. Moulton and her wife Patricia, David H. Moulton and his wife Jane and Linda Marsh, along will many nieces, nephews and cousins. He is predeceased by his parents, wife and brother Jon B. Moulton. A celebration of life will be held June 5, 2018 from 2-4 pm at Staples Funeral Home, 53 Brunswick Ave.

, Gardiner Maine. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Kennebec Valley Humane Society, Augusta, Maine.
