Liza’s Obituary Elizabeth “Liza” Jane Nevzuroff, 75, passed away on February 8th, 2019 at Alaska Native Medical Center in Anchorage. Liza was born on May 23, 1943 in Belkofski, Alaska. She graduated from High School and Business College and later lived in Anchorage.

Liza was helpful to everyone. She especially enjoyed spending time with family, friends, and her pets. Liza loved everyone.

She had special names for everyone. She was the focal point and heartbeat of her family. Liza is survived by daughters Angela (John) Bianchi-Dye and Vikki (Allen) Jackson, son Sal Bianchi, brothers Sam (Sheila) Nevzuroff and David (Denia) Nevzuroff, as well as many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Liza is preceded in death by father Sava Nevzuroff, Sr. and mother Marfa Nevzuroff, sister Mattie Weimer, and brother Peter Tetoff. A visitation will take place on Thursday, February 14th at 11:00 a.m. followed by a service at 12:00 p.m. at St. Innocent’s Russian Orthodox Cathedral, 401 Turpin Street, Anchorage, AK 99504. Father Michael Fredericks will officiate the service.

Pallbearers will include: Sal Bianchi, Sam Nevzuroff, Nathan Nevzuroff, Gunnar Nelson, Allen Jackson, and David Nevzuroff. Following the services, she will be laid to rest at 1:30 p.m. at the Anchorage Memorial Park Cemetery, 535 E. 9th Avenue, Anchorage, AK 99501. Following the burial, a reception will be held at the home of Sam and Sheila.

Arrangements were made with Janssen’s Evergreen Memorial Chapel.
