Obituary for LLoyd A Myers Lloyd A. Myers peacefully went to be with the Lord on April 30th, 2018 at “Just Like Home Care Center” in Sunnyside. He was born on Feb. 16, 1933 in Ottawa, Kansas to Howard and Laura Myers.

Barbara and Lloyd were married in 1956 at the Lutheran Church in Zillah. They were married 61 years. He enjoyed playing country music with his wife Barbara in Benson, Arizona in the winter and at other various private clubs and family functions.

He also enjoyed fishing and growing his own beautiful vegetable gardens. He was a lifetime member of the VFW and a member of the Granger Lions Club for 38 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara; two daughters, Connie (Michael) Byers of Goldendale, WA and Lorrie Visser of Granger, WA; grandsons, Alan (Tina) Byers of Goldendale, WA, Richard Visser of Lacey, WA, Brandon Visser of Redmond, OR, Keith Michael Housden of Culver, OR; great grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Haley, and Sean Byers of Goldendale, WA; a brother, Harold(Sue) Myers of Baldwin, Kansas; brother-in-law, Ron (Ann) Liebert of Granger, WA; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by a son, Dale Wayne; his parents; and a sister, Juanita Perry. Lloyd will be sadly missed by his family and a host of friends. Viewing will be at Valley Hills Funeral Home in Zillah, WA on Thursday, May 3rd from 4-7pm.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, May 10, 2018 at Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home, Baldwin City, KS. Interment with military honors will follow at Union Cemetery, Baldwin City, KS. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of LLoyd A Myers please visit our Sympathy Store.
