Lloyd “Ronnie” Jones, 76, of Groves, Texas passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas. Ronnie was born September 26, 1942 in Port Arthur, Texas to Lloyd Jones and Bonnie Gibson Jones. He was a lifelong area resident and member of Groves First Baptist Church.

Ronnie retired from Lyondell as a lab technician and was a member of Groves Masonic Lodge #1315. Survivors include his wife, Manette Jones of Groves; daughters, DeSha Buchanan and husband Chris of Taylor, Shana DeAnn Tinnian of Cedar Park Austin; step-daughter, Darla DeLome and husband Russell of Buna; step-sons, Joseph Richard Jr. of Humble, Sidney Richard and wife Alyssa of Lumberton; sister, Debra Schwartzenburg and husband Mickey of Houston; grandchildren, Jacob Ki, Collin, Rustie, Justin, and Britteny; and nine great-grandchildren. A visitation for family and friends will begin at 12 noon on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves followed by the memorial service at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Charles Miller officiating.
