Pedro S. Castillo, 88, of Groves, Texas passed away Saturday, December 15, 2018 at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas. He was born on August 3, 1930 in Temuco, Chile to Heriberto and Nieves Castillo. Pedro had lived in this area since 1964.

He was retired as a member of the National Maritime Union with 42 years of service. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves. Pedro was preceded in death by his son, Michael Castillo.

He is survived by his wife, Edith C. Werner of Groves, three daughters, Melinda Dumphy and husband Donny of Sour Lake, TX, Marilyn Foster and husband John of Port Neches, Tx, and Missy Castillo of Baytown, TX, son, Mark Castillo of Groves, TX, sister, Raquel Rivas of Temuco, Chile, thirteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
