Obituary for LOIS ELAINE BODKER SINGER Lois Elaine Bodker Singer, 88 of Overland Park, KS passed away October 5, 2018. Graveside service and interment will be at 10:00am Monday, October 8, 2018 at Mt. Moriah Cemetery, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, MO.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Lois was born November 4, 1929 in Kansas City, MO to Morris and Sarah Bodker. She met Meyer Singer in 1948 and they were married on February 13, 1949, they were married for 62 years until Meyer’s passing in 2011.

Lois was also a member of The Temple, Congregation B’nai Jehudah. Lois was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Meyer Singer; brother, Howard Bodker and sister, Dorothy Flapan. Survivors include sons, Mark (Debra) Singer, Joel (Laura) Singer; daughters, Dana (Nathaline) Singer, Mara Singer and many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren.
