Obituary for Lois I. Cozart Lois I. Cozart, 97, of Lawrenceville, Illinois passed away Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at her residence. She was born December 8, 1920 in Orio, Illinois, the daughter of Samuel Bruce and Sarah Agnes (Corrie) French. She married Harrison Cozart on October 22, 1946 and he preceded her in death on January 11, 2009.

Prior to having children, Lois was a bookkeeper at Rogers Cartage Trucking Company in Lawrenceville. She was a lifelong member of the Wabash Presbyterian Church in Orio. Preceding her in death were her parents and husband.

Survivors include two daughters, Annetta Lockhart and husband, Larry, of Lawrenceville, Illinois and Judy Knoerr and husband, Jay, of St. Petersburg, Florida and one sister, Evalena Ford of Allendale, Illinois. Funeral services will be Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 10:30 am at the Wabash Presbyterian Church. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois.

Burial will be in the Orio Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Orio Cemetery Fund. To send a memorial gift to the family of Lois I. Cozart please visit our Sympathy Store.
