Lois Jean Abraham, age 83, of the Hollowtown community, passed away Sunday morning, September 30, 2018 at the Hospice of Hope Ohio Valley Inpatient Center in Seaman. She was born June 26, 1935 in Adams County, Ohio, daughter of the late Joseph and Leila (Waits) Collins. Lois was a member of Hollowtown Church of Christ for all her life.

She loved to quilt, crochet, and do crafts. Surviving are two sons, Gary Abraham of Buford and Steven Abraham of Florida, seven grandchildren, McKenzie Wahmier, Katlir Schofield, Lilia Juliet, Richard William, Nancy Abraham, Roger Abraham, and Randy Abraham, two-great-grandchildren, Noah Parton and Brooke Schofield, adoptive daughter, Toni (Butch) James, adoptive grandson, Elijah Daley, beloved dog, Lilly, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Abraham, who passed away on February 14, 2002, three brothers, Johnny Collins, Charles Collins, and Bobby Collins, and a sister, Joanna Cole.

Services will be held at Edgington Funeral Home, 17 E. Main St. Mowrystown, Thursday, October 4, 2018 at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow in the Hamer Township Cemetery, Danville Ohio. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 am -1:00 pm.
