Lois Jean Eggenberger, age 82, of Clinton, passed away December 14, 2018. Lois was born August 18, 1936 in Garden City, Michigan the daughter of Donald and Hulda (Bock) Beyer. On June 16, 1956 she married William Eggenberger at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Plymouth, MI and he preceded her in death on February 9, 2014 .

She was a 1954 graduate of Lowrey High School, Dearborn, MI. Lois retired in 1994 as a bookkeeper from Wolverine Truck Plaza. She enjoyed bowling in the winter and golfing in the summer.

For 17 years she and her husband Bill enjoyed wintering in Florida, and they greatly missed their Florida friends. Lois is survived by her younger sister, Sharon and her children, Diane Ashby, Jack (Joanne) Eggenberger, and Amy (Paul) Meade; grandchildren, Ryan, Kristine (Dave Pelton), Olivia, and Dylan, Dustin, Alex and Evan; great grandchildren, Grace; Luke, Owen and Mox and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, William, she was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Janet and Doris and step-grandson Monty.

Funeral services will be 11:00 A. M. Friday, December 21, 2018 at the Clinton United Church of Christ with Rev. Diane White officiating. Visitation will be 2:00 to 8:00 P. M. Thursday, December 20, 2018 at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh and one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.
