Obituary for Lora Belle Bean Lora Belle Bean, age 87 of Soddy Daisy, passed away Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at Memorial North Park Hospital in Chattanooga. Lora was born on August 19, 1931 in Calhoun to the late Oscar and Maud (Pogue) Roberts. She is also preceded in death by her husband, William Thomas Bean, her brothers Donald Roberts and Clyde Roberts; in addition to her sister Kathryn McClain.

Lora was a former long time resident of Rhea County before moving to Soddy Daisy in 2005. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Lora attended Bakewell Bible Church and was a part of the Ladies Friendship Class.

Lora is survived by her sons, William Thomas (Leanne) Bean of San Clemente, CA, and Jason Craig Bean of Everett, WA. She is also survived by her two grandsons, Bryan (Jen) Bean of Mission Viejo, CA and Kristopher Bean of San Clemente, CA; in addition to her great grandson Carson Bean of Mission Viejo, CA. Lora is also survived by her sister, Dot (Ronald) Welch of Bakewell.

A funeral service for Lora will be held Friday at 12 noon in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Roy Hunsucker and Mrs. Gail Sue Roberts officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in Pleasantview Cemetery in Graysville.
