Lorena “Rena” Gail Cameron, age 61 of Cottage Grove, OR, passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2018. She was born April 6, 1957 in Huntington Park, California to James P. Slaughter and Eula Mae (Sheets) Gordon. She married JC Cameron in 1975 in Jay, OK.

She worked for Lane Community College performing laundry and custodial duties. Outside of work she loved watching her kid’s sports, yard-saling, and drinking her sweet tea. She also enjoyed social media between Snapchat and Facebook.

Above all else she valued her family. Rena is survived by her son, Jason Ray Cameron of Carson, WA; Daughter, Crystal Gail Cameron of Grants Pass, OR; Brother, Perry J. Slaughter of Lincoln, AR; sisters, Brenda J. Slaughter, Joann Slaughter, and Patsy A. Slaughter all of Cottage Grove, OR and 8 grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, JC Cameron.
