Obituary for Lorenzo Millsap Lorenzo “Polie” Millsap was born May 16, 1949 to the late Rufus “Joe” and Mattie Mae (Young) Millsap in Flowery Branch, Georgia. He joined Cross Plains Bapist Church at an early age. He attended Fair Street School and graduated from E.E. Butler High School.

Soon after graduation he was drafted into the Army to serve in the Vietnam war from 1970 to 1971. Upon returning home, he held several mechanic jobs (he loved to work on cars). He worked for Paris & Dunlap Trucking Co., Chicopee, Inc. (until his retirement), J &J Foods, and other odd joss until he became disabled.

he was preceded in death by his wife, Lucinda Finney Millsap; brothers, Rufus Millsap Jr. and John Henry Millsap; sisters, Dorothy “Sweetie@ Millsap Hunter and Doris Nell Millsap Bailey. He leaves to cherish his memories: son, Dedric Lorenzo Millsap Jr.; daughter, Amanda Delilah Millsap long of Gainesville, GA; two sisters, Mattie Lou Mathis and Alicher Estelle Stringer; two brothers, Clay Millsap and Jeffery Millsap; two sisters-in-law, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
