Obituary of Lorenzo Davis III Lorenzo Dow (Donnie) Davis went home to be with the Lord and his wife, Maggie, on Sunday, November 11, 2018. A loving father, grandfather, son and brother, Donnie was born on April 22, 1956 to Lorenzo (Jack) Davis and his wife Jane in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. Donnie graduated from Falls High in 1974 and went on to work in a variety of jobs throughout his life, both in the Akron area and North Carolina, including that of a painter, a long-haul driver, and general handyman.

Donnie’s major loves included his wife, daughter, grandkids, mom, sisters, and their families. He also was close to many relatives from the large Sloan and Davis families, including aunts, uncles and cousins. The Indians, Browns and Buckeyes were all favorite conversation topics, with Donnie remaining a lifelong fan of local sports.

He will be missed as a likable, good-natured, sincere family man and friend. Donnie is survived by his daughter Stephanie (Jason) and her children, Lincoln, Gavin and Addison, along with his sisters Sally (Craig) Johnson, Cathy (Dave) Davis, and Meredith Davis. Calling hours are Friday, November 16, from 4-5 PM at Victory Life Church, 3833 Hudson Drive, Cuyahoga Falls, with the funeral service directly afterward.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lorenzo Davis memorial fund at any Fifth Third bank.
