Born on June 15, 1926 in Knox Twp. , she was the daughter of the late Edward and Alvaretta (Fetters) Hugill-Richards.

On April 20, 1963 she married Harold Potter in the Madera UMC. He preceded her in death in 2003. Loretta worked as a caregiver and also a sewing machine operator for JBC in Madera, Viceroy sportswear in Osceola Mills, and Navasky’s in Philipsburg.

She was a member of Madera UMC. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Maude Warrick, and three brothers, Franklin, John, and Clair Hugill.

Friends will be received 6-8 PM Saturday at Kruise-Spewock Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., Madera, where funeral services will be held on Sunday at 2 PM. Interment will be private in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Grassflat. Condolences may be made at www.
