Loretta’s Obituary Loretta Shroyer, 93, of Connellsville, passed away Saturday, January 5, 2019. She was born January 29, 1925 in Connellsville, a daughter of the late Michael and Philomena (Desantis) Cavaliere. Loretta was a member of St. Rita RC Church and faithful member of St. Rita Christian Mothers.

Loretta loved cooking homemade meals, and having family over to enjoy them. She also enjoyed playing Bingo. Loretta was known for taking pride in her appearance and meticulous housekeeping.

Loretta is survived by two sons; Ronald Shroyer and wife Julie of Connellsville, and Michael Shroyer of Connellsville, six grandchildren; Kimberly Gordon and husband Eric of VA. , Lee Michael Shroyer of Fl. , Jodi Osler of Connellsville, Megan Pifer and husband Rick of West Chester, Lauren Gross and husband Joshua of Connellsville, and Ronald Shroyer and wife Ashley of Gibsonia, 9 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren, a sister Rita Pratt and husband Jim of Connellsville, three brothers; Anthony Cavalier, Francis Cavalier and wife Patricia, and John Cavalier and wife Patricia, all of Connellsville, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Loretta was predeceased her husband Alfred Shroyer (2010) a sister Angela (Cavalier) Ditto, three brothers; Henry, Michael, and Gene Cavailer, and a sister-in-law Ginger Shroyer. Friends will be received in the VITO C. MARTUCCI FUNERAL HOME 123 S. 1st St. West Side, Connellsville (724) 628-9033 on Tuesday from 2-8PM. A Blessing Service will be held Wednesday at 9:45AM in the funeral home followed by a Funeral Mass at 10AM in St. Rita RC Church with Fr.

Bob Lubic as Celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Rita Cemetery. Members of St. Rita Christians Mothers will hold a Ritual at 3PM Tuesday in the funeral home.
