“Angels live among us. Sometimes they hide their wings, but there is no disguising the peace and hope they bring. Lorraine Bernice Grieve, age 89, passed away Wednesday June 14, 2018.

Lorraine was born October 23rd 1928 in Chicago, IL and was a resident of Lansing, IL for fifty years. Lorraine was a graduate of St. Michaels High School in Chicago, IL and a loyal sales employee of Sears and Roebuck for twenty five years. Lorraine is survived by her two daughters, Pamela Baker Karnstedt(Dennis) and Nancy Gribble(Mark), her four granddaughters, Sarah Condes, Erica Haynes(Michael), Rachel Pryzbylski (David), and Rebecca Rucinski (Daniel), her ten great-grandchildren, William, Nicholas, Austin, Alexander, Caroline, Lydia, Lux, David, Jacob and Kai, and the children, grandchildren and great grandchildren of Richard Usinger. Visitation will be held on Sunday June 17th at Burns Kish Funeral Home 8415 Calumet Ave, Munster IN 46321 from 2-7 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place Monday June 18th at 10 am directly at Our Lady of Knock Church 501 163rd St , Calumet City, IL.

Friends may gather in the church from 9- 10 A.M. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
