Lorraine B. Letarte age 94 of Elkhorn, WI died on Friday July 20, 2018 surrounded by her family. Lorraine was born on August 26, 1923, daughter of the late Homer and Alice (Maier) Guimond. Lorraine married Francois Letarte on November 11, 1944 and raised their family together until the time of his passing in 2011.

Lorraine has lived in the Elkhorn area for the last 16 years, after moving here from Franklin Park, IL. Lorraine was a lifelong cubs fan; she enjoyed playing Bingo on Thursday nights and always got a thrill out of gambling. Lorraine is preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Homer.

She is survived by her six children; Joseph of Elkhorn, WI, James (Betty) of Glendale Heights, IL, Barbara (Fred) Cutlan of Downers Grove, IL, Richard (Patricia) of Elkhorn, WI, Edward of Elkhorn, WI, and Catherine (Terry) Hall of Franklin Park, IL; 10 grandchildren; Laurie, Kimberly, Marie, Brian, Danielle, Jennifer, Todd, Adam, Abby, Tracy; and 25 great grandchildren; Meaghan, Austin, Ryan, Andrew, Brian, Kurtis, Kyle, Dylan, Kaitlyn, Alexander, Emily, Sydney, Madison, Tiziana, Lia, Zoey, Joseph, Joshua, Chase, Aidan, Kyley, Michael, Rowan, Vitino, and Tyler. A Memorial Service will be held for Lorraine at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory 730 N. Wisconsin Street on Saturday August 25, 2018 at 12:00 Noon. Visitation will be held before the service starting at 11:00AM.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Lorraine’s name to the Sacred Heart Foundation of Wisconsin 900 W Clairemont Avenue Eau Claire, WI 54701.
