Obituary for Lottie Craig (McDaniel) Lottie Lee McDaniel Craig, 94, of Swannanoa, passed away Saturday, September 22, 2018. Mrs. Craig was born February 7, 1924 to the late Enoch and Bertha Searcy McDaniel. Lottie was a person of nature, enjoying rocks, trees, flowers, animals and seashells.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Wayne Craig; sons, Chris and David Craig; grandsons, Jonathan Craig and Michael Lunsford; 4 sisters and 2 brothers. She is survived by her daughter, Becky Lunsford (Roger); son, Roger Craig (Karen); niece-daughter, Carolyn Ballard; sister, Edna Wishon; brother, Wayne McDaniel; 9 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 26, 2018 from 12:30 to 1:30pm in the chapel of Harwood Home for Funerals.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 pm in the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery Chapel with Rev. James Lamb officiating. Burial will immediately follow.
