Obituary for Vernon Weaver Jr. Vernon Weaver, Jr. 72, of Black Mountain passed away Saturday, November 17, 2018. Mr. Weaver was born December 19, 1945 in Buncombe County to the late Vernon and Clara Mooring Weaver. He was a veteran of the US Air Force serving during the Vietnam War.

Mr. Weaver retired from Tyson’s Furniture with over 40 years of service. Vernon is survived by his wife of 52 years, Connie Weaver; daughter, Wendy Moore (Jeff); son, Stacey Weaver (Miranda); sister, Louise Allison; and grandchildren, Trent, Autumn, and Sara. The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 20, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00pm at Harwood Home for Funerals.
