Obituary for Beulah G. Presnell Beulah G. Presnell, 92, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 28, 2018. Beulah was born on February 18, 1926 in Madison County. She was the daughter of the late Grover Gowan and Lola Revis.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Julius R. Presnell; sisters, Nell Harkleroad, Inez Northey, Eloise Gowan, Dora Lawson, Lema Davis, and Ruth Etherton; daughter-in-law, Robin Presnell. Beulah is survived by son, Doug Presnell of the home; daughters, Jean Huntsinger (Tommy) of Swannanoa, Margaret Jones (Oscar) of Black Mountain, and Linda McIntosch (John) of Lawrenceville, GA; also parented in the home was her granddaughter, Tammy Penley (Travis); five additional grandchildren and several great and great-great grandchildren. Beulah was employed at Beacon of over 29 years.
She was a strong Christian who loved and served the Lord. She was a charter member of Swannanoa Church of God. Beulah will always be remembered for the love she had for her family and friends.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at 1:00pm at Swannanoa Church of God with Rev. Robert Haynie and Leonard Cole officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
