Obituary for Dora Bullman McDevitt Dora Bullman McDevitt, 78, of Swannanoa, passed away December 22, 2018. Mrs. McDevitt was born April 12, 1940 in Madison County to the late Emory and Thelma Cutshall Bullman. She was a member of Landmark Missionary Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, David McDevitt; and sister, Rosa Griffin. Dora is survived by her husband of 63 years, Elmer McDevitt; daughter, Lois Branson (Don) of Asheville; sons, Tommy McDevitt (Tanya) and Tony McDevitt all of Swannanoa; sisters, Malinda McDevitt of Leicester, Frances Hickman (Jim) of Texas, and Mary Griffith of Gulf Port, MS; brother, Charles Bullman (Lou) of Missouri; grandchildren, Chris McDevitt (Lori) of Fairview, Lucinda Williams (Rob) of Florida, Cody McDevitt of Nevada, Jennifer Dockery (Mike) of Leicester, Shawn Branson (Elizabeth) of Asheville, and Katie McDevitt of Swannanoa; great grandchildren, Chance McDevitt, Kyleigh McDevitt, Gage Plemmons, Justin Lewis, Maddison Davis, Adian Davis, Jacob Dockery, Nikki Williams, Bella Dockery, David McDevitt, and Chris Dockery; and numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, December 27, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Landmark Missionary Baptist Church with Rev.

Jason Bartlett and Rev. Andy McDevitt officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Memorial Park.
