Obituary for Betty Jean Earley Betty Jean Earley, 76, of Swannanoa passed away Saturday, December 29, 2018. Mrs. Earley was born June 1, 1942 in Murphy, NC to the late Hyman and Grace Chasteen. She attended Biltmore Church of God and was employed with Beacon as an inspector.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers. Betty is survived by her husband, Bobby Earley; son, Tim Earley; adopted son, Jesse Blankenship (Jessica); adopted grandchildren, Zeke and Zack Blankenship; sisters, Shirley Lumpston and Jurdy Chandler and brothers, Johnny, Joe, Bobby, and Gary Chasteen. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, January 3, 2019 at 6:00pm at Biltmore Church of God with Rev.

Dale Whitson officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The American Heart Association, 4217 Park Place Ct. , Glen Allen, VA 23060.
