Louis J. Durando Beloved Father, Brother and Uncle, 87 Mr. Louis J. Durando, 87, of Lyndhurst, NJ, passed away on Thursday, June 14, 2018. There will be a funeral service celebrated at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Tuesday, June 19 at 10:00 a.m. The interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visitation will be on Monday, June 18 from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. .

Mr. Durando was born and raised in Nutley, NJ and resided in Lyndhurst for the past 48 years. He was a general contractor in the Nutley area for many years before retiring. Mr. Durando was a world renowned Roller Derby Jammer skating in Madison Square Garden and touring Europe.

He was also a NJ State Horse Shoe Champion in singles and doubles. He is survived by his beloved son Frank Durando; his loving brother Daniel Durando and his loving sister Josephine Froats. Mr. Durando is also survived by his many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mr. Durando is predeceased by his four brothers and four sisters.
