Peter P. Scala Beloved Companion and Uncle, 86 Mr. Peter P. Scala, 86, of Bloomfield, NJ, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 9, 2018. The funeral will be conducted from the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Wednesday, June 13 at 8:45 a.m. There will be a Funeral Mass celebrated at Sacred Heart Church, Bloomfield at 10:00 a.m. The interment will be at Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield with military honors. Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 12 from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. Mr. Scala was born in Newark and resided in Bloomfield.

He was the owner of Scala Taxi, Newark for many years before retiring. Mr. Scala served honorably in the U.S. Army. He is survived by his beloved companion of 54 years, Josephine Pannorfi and his loving niece Josephine Violente.
