Passed away on Thursday, January 10, 2019. Age 82 years. He was born on August 27, 1936, son of the late DeEtta (DuFresne) and Louis O. Cribbins, in Saginaw.

Louis married Wanda Jane Hunter, she predeceased him on October 30, 2010. He then married Betty Rivett, she predeceased him on December 19, 2004. He served in the U.S. Marines and Airforce during the Korean Conflict .

Louis enjoyed fishing, eating good food, watching t.v. and was an avid reader. Louis is survived by eight children, Debra (Robert) Nation, Dale (Renda) Cribbins, Diana (Michael) Szymkowiak, Denise Martinchek, David Cribbins, Leslie (Mark) Doorlag, Louis (Reilly) Cribbins and Leon (Ariel) Cribbins; 15 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and one sister, Sandy Falkenhagen. He was predeceased by his brother, Dale Erwin Cribbins.

Memorial service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 19, 2019, at W. L. Case and Company, 4480 Mackinaw Road. Rev. Robert Richards will officiate.

Honoring Louis’s wishes cremation has taken place. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider the Disabled American Veterans.
