Nancy Enola Holvey Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Monday, December 31, 2018, at St. Mary’s Hospital. Age 84 years. The daughter of the late Irene (Popp) and Eugene Lawrence was born June 18, 1934 in Saginaw, Michigan.

She married John Adam Holvey Jr, August 29, 1953. He passed away October 10, 2010. Nancy was employed by Michigan National Bank and later as a Medical Assistant for Dr. Nelson and Dr. Manguni.

She was a member of Ascension Lutheran Church, a blood donor and volunteered at the Bethesda Thrift Shop and the Soup Kitchen at Old Town Christian Outreach. She enjoyed spending time at Wixom Lake. Surviving are four children and their spouses, Michael D. Holvey and Janet Walat; Lynn Ann and Nelson Staples; Susan and David Knowlton; Christopher and Susan Holvey; nine grandchildren and their spouses, Matthew and Natasha Holvey; Shannon Fitzpatrick; Wendy and Scott Krauss; Angela and Jerry Hoy; Deidre and David Vlassis; Abbey Knowlton; Andrew Knowlton; Alec Holvey; Ryan Holvey; fourteen great grandchildren; one great great grandson; several nieces and nephews.

A sister, Shirley Parsons, has predeceased her. The funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 4, 2019, at Ascension Lutheran Church, 8695 Gratiot Rd. Rev.

Julie Bailey will officiate with burial in Chapel Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Rd. from 2:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday and then on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
