Theresa Marie Sage passed away surrounded by family and friends at Covenant Hospital in Saginaw, MI on February 18, 2019 at the age of 68. Theresa was born December 3, 1950 to Henry Revord and Lois (Soper) Revord in Bay City, MI. She graduated from T.L Handy High School in 1969 and went on to earn her license in cosmetology.

She later went on to work for Magna Brighton Interiors retiring early due to health reasons. Theresa also was a caregiver to many wonderful people throughout her life, leading to lifelong friendships and memories. Theresa is survived by her beloved partner, James Dombrowski, her former spouse, Richard (Kristie) Sage, her 2 children, Tammy (Donn) Barber of Oxford and Richard (Jennifer Krenz) Sage of Reese, two step-children, Eric (Tara) Dombrowski of Freeland and John (Tracey) Dombrowski of Alger, nine grandchildren, Brandon, Madison, Little John, Kaitlyn, Deric, Dausen, Abigail, Fisher, Taylor, and one great-grandchild, Ryland – “he loved his GiGi”and her very special “adopted” son Kenny (Amy) Shapland of Reese, her treasured aunt and friend, Mary Bond of Hermitage, TN, her step-mother, Faye Revord of Midland, three siblings, Ruth Ann (Walter) Kemerer of Brant, James Revord of Linwood, and Judy Fox of Los Angeles, CA.

Theresa is also survived by many cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Theresa enjoyed spending quality time with friends and family over a cup of coffee and playing cards. She loved watching Hallmark movies, fishing at the Cuts, picking blueberries, and sitting around the fire at the Shack.

Theresa also loved going to and watching the Tigers baseball, as well as going to the casino, with her children. Theresa was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Revord and Lois Coursey, her step-father, Julian Emory Coursey Sr., brother, Donald Revord, sister, Beverly Revord and sister-in-law Sharon (Sage) Schram. A funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 22, 2019 at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road.

Rev. Fr. Steve Gavit will officiate.

Honoring Theresa’s wishes cremation will follow. Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the funeral chapel on Thursday from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the Sage family c/o Tammy Barber.
