OBITUARY Louise Ann Rex April 5, 1928 – July 28, 2018 Mrs. Louise Ann Ritchie Rex, 90 of Mt. Ulla, passed away on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at her home. Born on April 5, 1928 in Rowan County, she was the daughter of the late Grover Cleveland and Beulah Beaver Ritchie.

Educated in the Rowan County schools, she was of the Lutheran faith. Earlier in life, Mrs. Rex worked for Parrish Bakery and later in life became a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James Rex on October 4, 2014, as well as her daughter Wanda Sue Yost, grandchildren William Anthony Graham and Allen Wayne Koontz Jr. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter Barbara Bost (Johnny), step children Gary Rex, David Rex (Cheryl) and Elaine Whitaker (Danny).

Also surviving her are her great grandchildren Hunter Koontz, Gabirelle Koontz, Alexis Koontz and Gage Graham (Nixsa), as well as great great grandchildren Ricardo Juarez, Evie Daniel, Isabella Koontz and Baby Boy Miles Graham (due in September). Mrs. Rex was also survived by 10 step grandchildren, 9 step great grandchildren and 2 step great great grandchildren. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 1:00 til 2:00 at Linn Honeycutt Funeral Home in China Grove with funeral to follow at 2:00 also at the funeral home with Rev.

Christopher Henson, minister. Entombment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trellis Supportive Care(formerly Rowan Hospice and Palliative Care ) 301 S. Main St. Salisbury NC, 28144.
