Obituary for Louise Baker Rambo Dateline – Laurens, SC Louise Baker Rambo, wife of James T. Rambo, Sr., of 107 Lemon Tree Trail passed away Monday, July 2, 2018, at the Hospice House of Laurens County. She was born in Winnsboro, SC, and was a daughter of the late Leroy and Minnie Lee Baker. Louise was a graduate of Mt.

Zion Institute High School in Winnsboro, SC, and Columbia Hospital School of Nursing. She attended Laurens First United Methodist Church and was a member of the Searchers Sunday School Class. She retired in 2009 after 48 years of medical service.

Louise leaves behind to cherish memories her husband; her son, James T. Rambo, Jr., and wife, Courtney, of Simpsonville; two grandsons, John Parker Rambo and Mack Rambo. Louise is also survived by her sisters, Carolyn Baker-Jacobs, Rachel Houge, Mary Croft (Darrell), Juanita Powell (Russell); brothers, Lindsey Baker (Trevor), Dr. Wesley Baker (Mary Sue), Harold Baker (Miriam), Frank Baker Lt. Col.

Marines Ret. (Sandra); numerous nieces and nephews; special friends, Steve and Jenny Sutherland, Willie Odell Grimes and Searchers Sunday School Class. The Celebration of Life and Resurrection will be held Saturday, July 7th, at 2:00 PM, at Laurens First UMC.

The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall immediately following the service. The burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials made be made to Laurens First UMC, 210 West Main St, Laurens SC 29360; to Laurens Gideons, P O Box 1067, Laurens, SC 29360; or to Grace UMC, 145 Grace Drive, Abbeville, SC 29620.
