Obituary for Louise E. Oxley Louise E. Oxley, 97, of St. Albans passed away Friday, December 7, 2018. Born February 22 1921 in Red Lake Falls, Minnesota, she was a daughter of the late Napoleon and Amanda Paradis Perreault. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ben Oxley; youngest son, John Oxley; oldest daughter, Linda Macleery and her oldest son, Michael Oxley who died Sunday, December 2, 2018; and a grandson, Tim Jones, II.

Louise was a former rural mail carrier in St. Albans as well as a Rosie the Riveter. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, the Ladies Auxiliary of the St. Albans Moose Lodge # 868 and an avid quilter. She was a resident of St. Albans for over 60 years.

Surviving are her children, Patricia Jones (Tim) of Hurricane, Fred Oxley (Winnie) of Concord, CA, Kenny Oxley (Beverly) of St. Albans; son-in-law, Fred Macleery of Lexington, KY; sister, Martha Harty of Milwaukee, WI; 17 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am Thursday at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 1023 Sixth Avenue, St. Albans celebrated by Rev. Father Patrick M. McDonough.

Visitation will be held from 6-8pm Wednesday at Bartlett-Chapman Funeral Home, St. Albans. You may also visit her tribute page at ChapmanFuneralHomes.com to share memories with the family. Burial will follow at Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans.

Her son, Michael will be laid to rest as well at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions should be directed to the American Cancer Society, 301 RHL Blvd. , Charleston, WV 25309.
