Werkheiser, 97, of Allentown, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at home. She was the wife of the late Franklin G. Werkheiser. Born November 4, 1921 in Bath, she was a daughter of the late Nicholas and Mary (Collepietro) Liberto.

Louise worked and retired from Sure Fit Inc., Bethlehem after 30 years. Previously, she worked at Bethlehem Steel Co. and TAMA Manufacturing. She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, Bath.

Louise was also a member of Heights AA Ladies Auxiliary. Survivors: daughters, Violet L. Beruta and husband, Charles, and Nancy A. DellaCroce and husband, Edward; grandchildren, Lisa Gottlieb, Anthony DellaCroce and Joseph Beruta; great-grandchildren, Liza Marie, Bailey and Blair; sisters, Marie Werkheiser and Margaret Kutzer. Louise was predeceased by her brothers, Nicholas Liberto, Louis Liberto and Anthony Liberto.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, January 14th at 10:00 a.m. in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 117 Washington St., Bath. Family and friends may call Monday from 8:00 to 9:15 a.m. in the Reichel Funeral Home, 326 E. 21st St., Northampton. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown.

Contributions: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be presented to Alzheimer’s Association, Suite 102, 399 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA 19106 in loving memory of Louise. Online condolences may be submitted above.
