LuAnn’s Obituary Mrs. LuAnn Bryson, age 63, wife of Eugene Bryson and a resident of Pawnee Trail in Columbia, passed away early Sunday morning, February 17, 2019 at Maury Regional Medical Center. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at 2PM at Heritage Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 from 4-8PM and again on Thursday from 1-2 PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Born on January 10, 1956 in Lewisburg, LuAnn was the daughter of the late Robby Lee Adkins, Sr. and the late Mary Glendon Hazlett Adkins.

She married Eugene Bryson on July 12, 1974 and together they had two children. LuAnn worked many years as a seamstress at Weather Tamer and most recently worked as a secretary at Columbia Pediatrics. She was a member of First Assembly of God.

LuAnn enjoyed planting flowers, taking trips to the beach, going shopping, and watching soap operas. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren and will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her. In addition to her husband, Eugene of 44 years, she is survived by her children: Jeremy Wayne Bryson of Columbia, Suzanne (Greg) Smith of Columbia; brother: Robby Lee (Debbie) Adkins, Jr. of Murfreesboro; and grandchildren: Kristen Scott and Khloe Scott both of Columbia.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter: Glenda Jean Bryson and half-sister: Connie McNabb. Pallbearers will be: Brian Lovett, Gage Lovett, Chris Bryson, David Hazlett, Jonathan Paisley, and Robert Webb.
