Lucille A. Fennessy, 86, of Crystal Lake, formerly of Carpentersville, passed away peacefully on June 10, 2018. She was born on November 3, 1931 in Cicero, IL to Alfred and Lucille (nee Kukis) Bicek. Family was most important to Mom she loved having the entire family over for dinners she was an excellent cook and baker.

She was famous for her kolachkys as well as many other sweets. She and her husband toured most of the mainland United States on their motorcycle after retirement. Lucille and her husband were life members of the American Motorcycle Association.

Lucille and her husband, Edward, celebrated 53 wonderful years of marriage until his passing on May 18, 2004. Lucille will be joyfully remembered by her loving children, Edward A. (Ginny) Fennessy Jr. of Huntley; Richard A. (Lynette) Fennessy of Crystal Lake and Laura A. (Evan) Skytte of Crystal Lake; grandchildren, Diane (Jay) Johnson of Woodstock ; Tom (Angie) Fennessy of Crystal Lake; Brad (Bruce) Fennessy of Crystal Lake; Brandon (Meredith) Skytte of Crystal Lake; great-grandchildren, Zachary and Hannah Johnson, and Connor Fennessy; her brother, Alan (Joyce) Bicek of Lake Como, WI; many loving friends and relatives also survive. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and by her brother Jim Bicek.

Visitation will be Wednesday, June 13, 2018, from 4 PM until 8 PM at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave. (Rte. 176), Crystal Lake, IL 60014.

Visitation will resume on Thursday, June 14 from 9 AM until the funeral service at 10:30 AM at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Crystal Lake Memorial Park Cemetery, Crystal Lake. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to JourneyCare Foundation, 2050 Claire Ct.
