Matthew Kane Switski, of Barrington, passed away peacefully surrounded by his beloved family on Sunday, July 29, 2018 at the age of 40. Matt enjoyed his successful career at Ecolab where he made many lasting friendships. In his free time he loved coaching his children’s sports teams and spending time on his boat at the Abbey Yacht Club in Fontana, Wisconsin.

Most of all, Matt loved spending quality time with his family and friends. Matt is survived by his loving wife, Tricia; children, Kane and Elin; sisters, Nina (George Stembridge III) Switski and Christine (Dan) Brosnan; parents, Victor and Colette Switski; and his many cousins, nieces and nephews. Friends are welcome to visit with Matt’s family on Thursday, August 2, from 4-8 pm.

at St. Anne Catholic Church, 120 Ela St, Barrington. Visiting will continue the follow day, Friday, August 3, from 9 a.m. until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at the church. Burial will follow at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.
