Lucille A. Parillo Proto, affectionately known as “Lucy”, of Wallingford died peacefully on January 26, 2019 at Masonicare surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Harold J. Proto. Lucille was born in New Haven on January 15, 1934 to the late Anthony and Angela Peluso Parillo.

She was a great wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother and a wonderful person in every way. She will be missed by us all. Lucille was proud of her children Donna Stanley, Denise McNamara, Raymond Proto and her daughter-in-law Krissy Proto.

Lucy has reunited with her daughter Darlene Ann Proto. She was a loving sister to Ann Marie Murray and the late Fred Parillo and she was very proud of her grandsons Bridgges and Madison Stanley, Nicholas and Jason Proto. Visiting hours will be Friday morning February 1st from 9-11am in the Iovanne Funeral Home, Inc. 11 Wooster Place, New Haven.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Michael Church at 11:30am. Burial will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery. To send flowers or a remembrance gift to the family of Lucille Proto, please visit our Tribute Store.
