Mrs. Lucy Jones Brooks age 76 of 2998 Saddletree Rd of Lumberton was born on June 28,1942 and departed this Life peaceful on Sunday October 21, 2018 at home. She preceded in death by her parents, Lucy Alma Locklear and Wilmer Locklear, her brother, William Ray Locklear. She attended Magnolia High School and worked for many years until retirement at Converse.

She enjoyed her daily visits from a very special companion Mr. Foxxy (family pet). In cherishing memories Lucy Jane leaves behind her husband Daniel Brooks; her son, Donald Ray Locklear (Rhonda); her granddaughter, Keisha L Jacobs (Ethan); and her sister in law, Kathy Locklear and family.
