Kinston- Ludie Faye Carmon, 59, departed this walk of life Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at home with her family by her side. A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro. The family will receive friends following the service.

Mrs. Carmon was born in Greene County, NC to the late Walter and Annie Whitfield Taylor. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses of Snow Hill. She is survived by her husband, Melvin Carmon; five sisters, Mae Suggs of Bowie, Maryland, Cora Gee of Goldsboro, Shirley Lewis of Goldsboro, Helen Ricks of Haw River, NC and Mamie Brown (Nathaniel) Brown of Ridgeland, SC and a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
