Ludwig Mueller, 86, of Harwinton, CT, passed away Saturday, September 8th, at Uconn Health Center, Farmington. He was the husband of Brigette Maiwald Mueller He was born in Lithuania, on August 26, 1932, a son of the late Anele (Tiedmann) and Karl Mueller and was employed as a tool and die maker for Turner and Seymour Mfg Co. in Torrington for 47 years. Active at Saint Paul’s Lutheran Church since 1952 he was an usher for many years and a member of the Order of Hermann’s Sons.

In addition to his wife, he leaves a son Martin Mueller and wife Barbara of Hudson MA and their children Ashley of New Zealand and Andrew of Hudson; daughter Ramona Weingart and husband Gregory of Harwinton and their children Phillip and Tanya of Harwinton, a brother Frederick Mueller and wife Linda of Torrington and sister Irene Barillaro of Torrington. , He was predeceased by a brother Arnold Mueller. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 AM on Wednesday, September 12th at Saint Paul’s Lutheran Church in Torrington, CT .

Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery. Friends may call 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Tuesday, September 11th at Phalen Funeral Home in Torrington, CT Memorial Contributions can be made to Saint Paul’s Music Fund 837 Charles St Torrington CT 06790. www.
