Waterbury- Raymond M. Sloman, 46, passed away Thursday, October 18, 2018 at his home. Raymond was born in Easton, PA, on April 3, 1972, son of Elaine (Forrest) Fadoir and the late Raymond J. Sloman, Jr., and had resided in New Hartford most of his life. In his younger years, Raymond was active in Scouting.

He enjoyed driving, music, especially playing the drums. Survivors include a son, Nathaniel “Nate” A. Sloman, and a daughter, Emily M. Sloman, both of New Hartford; his mother, Elaine Fadoir and her husband Mickey of New Hartford, three sisters, Barbara Collins of Torrington, Donna Babbin of New Hartford, and Amber Fadoir of Torrington; his step-mother, Kathy Schulman of AZ; and several nieces and nephews. Raymond was predeceased by a sister, Casey Lee Fadoir.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 11:00a.m. at Winchester Center Cemetery, South Rd. , Winchester. Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home, 258 Prospect St., Torrington, is in care of arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
