Belinda Sweeney, 63, of Torrington died Sept. 30, 2018 at her home. Belinda loved her grandson, Joey DiPippo with every fiber of her being.

Her witty sense of humor and infectious laughter will be missed. She leaves a daughter, Aimee Fusco and her significant other, Jason Gould and her grandson, Joseph DiPippo all of Torrington. Her mother, Ernestine Sweeney, her brother, Charles Sweeney II and his wife, Geraldine Sweeney, all of Torrington Belinda was predeceased by her son, Michael Fusco Jr, and her father, Charles Sweeney Sr. Friends may call Friday Oct 12 FROM 10-11 AM with a service following at Phalen Funeral Home in Torrington.

She was a strong woman who had many health issues. The family finds peace in knowing that her struggles are over and she is comfortable now.
