Lucille A. (Wilder) Good, 87, of Torrington, CT, passed away Friday, November 16th, at Litchfield Woods. She was the wife of the late Donald A. Good. Lucille was the daughter of the late Hilda (Hexamer) and Lionel Wilder and grew up in Litchfield.

After High School she studied Nursing at North Shore Baby Hospital in Salem MA. , and upon finishing school she worked at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital Maternity Ward. After having children of her own, she became a full time mom.

Later in life she went to work for Inertia Dynamics until her retirement. “Lu” as she was known to family and friends was an avid UCONN fan as well as her beloved Red Sox. She enjoyed many Summers with family and friends on the shores of Duxbury MA, as well as West Hill Lake.

She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Good and sons Bruce and Richard (Marie) as well as grandchildren David (Jennifer) Good, Amanda (Michael) Sirois, and Collin Good. She also leaves behind great granddaughter Mackenzie Good and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son David and daughter Susan.

The entire Good family would like to thank the staff at Litchfield Woods Health Care as well as Hartford Health Care Hospice who took such good care of Lu in her final weeks. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 24th at First Congregational Church in Litchfield where she was a life long member. Family and friends can meet and pay respects one hour prior to the Service at Church.

Burial will follow at East Cemetery in Litchfield. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Warm the Children program of Torrington, a charity she supported for Many years. www.
