Obituary for Luther “Joe” Cavender Luther “Joe” Cavender, 92, of Kennewick, Washington, passed away on June 16, 2018 surrounded by family and friends. Joe was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He married the love of his life, Ida “Lorene” Moore Cavender, in 1954.

He was a member of the Plumbers and Steam Fitters Union #598 and the Richland VFW #7952. He loved to hunt and fish with family and friends. He also loved to watch football, especially the Seahawks.

He is survived by his wife; Ida “Lorene” Cavender, his children; Joe Lee Cavender, Linda Kaye Culbreth, Patricia Orsborn, Dixie Lea Jasinto and David Allen Moore; his niece, Margie Swallow; 8 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Luther Carson Cavender and Dorthy Fern Cavender; his sister, Anne Hagger; his brother, Charles Cavender and his nephew, Jerry Moore. A viewing will be held for the public on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 from 10:30am-noon at Mueller’s Tri-Cities Funeral Home, 1401 S. Union St. Kennewick, Washington.
