Mrs. Lynda Joyce Parker of Tampa, Florida made her heavenly transition on Thursday, April 26, 2018 the visitation will be held Friday, May 4th 5:00 p.m. at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Lynda Joyce Parker was born July 2, 1956 to the late Jessie Lee Barnes and Eulalia Mendoza-Barnes in Tampa, Florida. Lynda attended the local schools of Hillsborough County, and graduated from King High School.

Lynda worked countless years as an Early Childcare Professional, as her love for children was evident. She enjoyed cooking and gardening, but most of all she cherished time she spent with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie and Eulalia Barnes.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories with he devoted husband of 37 years, Larry Parker; her loving children, Katina James (Frank), Jerry Harrison (Genel) and Santell Parker (Lamont); precious grandchildren, Jerry Harrison, Ambreia Champion, Jamarcus Harrison, JaQuan Harrison, Javaun Harrison, Jailyn Harrison, Tyriq James, LaMont Jackson, Bryce Jackson, Saniya Jackson, Dorian James, Frantica James, Jordan Williams, Monisha Hard, Dominic Brown, Marian Acree and Jordan Acree; great-grandchildren, JaMarcus Harrison, Jaivion Harrison, Ja’Neya Harrison, Jamarion Harrison and Alaia Adams; sisters, Dolores Wilkins and Antoinette Barnes (Marlon); special niece, Alicia Cato; nieces, Robin Paige, Amaya Barnes, Berjon Barnes and Bryani Jackson; nephews, Howard Harris and Byron Jackson; brothers-in-law, Kelvin Parker (Ronnie), Greg Parker (Urusla), Dennis Parker (Shelia), Keith Parker (LaQuita) and Leonard Parker; close confidants, Clyde and Babia Mills; special friends, Beatrice Mitchell, Judy Brown, Janice Woodall and MaryAnn Haynes; and a host other relatives who will miss her dearly. The friends are asked to meet the family from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. during the visitation at the funeral home.
