Lynn Dell “Lindy” J. Zimmerman, 75, of Fond du Lac, died on Thursday, January 17, 2019, at her residence. She was born on May 31, 1943, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of William C. and Evelyn A. Retzleff Zimmerman. She was a graduate of Oakfield High School.

Lynn worked for Fond du Lac Public Schools, Liberty Mutual Insurance in Human Res and worked at Beacon House. She volunteered at Elizabeth Waters Elementary School, enjoyed gardening and was recognized as Gardner of the Year. She enjoyed playing cards, was an avid Chicago Bears fan, and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

She was fondly known as the “Special Chef” at Christmas. She is survived by her children: Kelly L. (fiancé Tony) Scarpetta, of Roscoe, IL, Stacey L. Ryan of Rockford, IL and Clinton (Amy) Ott of Roscoe, IL; her grandchildren: Trey Ryan, Bailey Ryan, Allie Scarpetta, Brennan Ott and Joseph Ott; her friend John Eggert of Random Lake and his children: David (Darcie) Eggert and their children Troy, Travis, Trevor and Tara; Kevin (Karen) Eggert and their children Ally and Madison; her sister, Carole (Frank) Rebedew of Neshkoro, numerous nieces and nephews, and her beloved dog, Stella. She is preceded in death by her parents, her sisters: Wilma Zimmerman-Lakin and Joyce Gardner, her brother, Guy (Mary) Zimmerman.

VISITATION: Friends may call on Tuesday, January 22, 2019, from 10:00 – 1:00 p.m. at Kurki-Mach Funeral Chapel, 31 East Division Street, Fond du Lac. FUNERAL: Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 22, 2019, at 1:00 p.m. at Kurki-Mach Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Andrew Wittenberg officiating.
