Mable Kathleen “Kat” Mayle, 88 of Bruceton Mills, went to spend her eternal life with the Lord, on Thursday, March 28, 2019 at the Sundale Nursing Home, Morgantown, with her loving family by her side. She was born May 6, 1930 in Taylor County, a daughter and last surviving family member of the late Dorsey W. and Leota Croston Maley. She is survived by her husband of sixty seven years, Rev.

Winfield S. Mayle whom she married on September 22, 1951. She enjoyed being outdoors and raising canaries. Kat loved being with her family and never met a stranger.

After many funerals at the gravesites, Kat would sing a beautiful song and bringing joy to the families, along with her husband Winfield in their journey saving souls. Kat and Winfield enjoyed going to Camp Meetings at Bruceton Mills. Kat has made the crossing, and thanked the Lord for her final journey home, which she had been looking forward too.

In addition to her husband Winfield, Kat is survived by one son, John Mayle, Bruceton Mills and fiancée, Willa Greathouse; three grandchildren, Willis “Bud” Livengood and wife Nikki, Olivia Davis and husband Greg , Misti Rae Colebank and husband Brian; four great grandchildren, Tucker, Aiden, Noah, and Colton; four sister-in-law’s, Ruth Maley, Myrtle Maley, Christine Roush, all of Canton, OH, and Linda Maley, Grafton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded death by, one daughter, Debbie Livengood; two sisters, Bernetta Mayle, and Mary Lantz; four brothers, Kermit Maley, Albert “Abe” Maley, Ted Maley, and David E. Maley. The family would like to thank WV Caring Hospice and Sundale Nursing Home for the wonderful care they gave to Kathleen.

Friends may call at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave. , Grafton, on Sunday, March 31, 2019 from 1-8PM. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Monday April 1, 2019 at the West Hill Wesleyan Methodist Church with Rev.

Terry Zimmerman and Rev. Paul Mullen officiating. Kathleen will lie in repose at the church two hours prior to the service.
