Mack Arthur Whitt, Sr. was born August 18, 1947 to Alice Whitt in Uniontown, Alabama. He departed this life on Monday, January 28, 2019 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Star Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Uniontown, Alabama.

He attended Perry County Schools in Uniontown, Alabama. He was a wonderful caring person who loved his family. He was a giving person who always gave to his neighbors and friends.

Mack enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and cutting hair. He also enjoyed watching western movies, karate and he loved his Cadallics. He leaves to cherish his memories two sons, Mack Arthur (Trina) Whitt, Jr. and Curtis (Sylvia) Whitt; two daughters, Shirley (John) Gonzalez and Tarcus Yvonne (Greg) Whitt; estranged wife and friend, Ella Mae Whitt; stepson, Dewon Whitt all of Fort Wayne; sister, Ethel Whitt-Bankhead of Cincinnati, OH; aunt, Augusta Starks of Birmingham, AL; 13 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren; special cousin, Mary Whitt-Sargent of Fort Wayne; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Alice Whitt; grandparents, Jr and Francis Whitt.
