Madeline DeFord Clark Windham, age 80, resident of Oakland, Tennessee and wife of Mr. Jerry E. Windham, departed this life Sunday afternoon, November 25, 2018 at the Baptist Reynolds Hospice House in Collierville. A Memorial Service for Mrs. Windham will be held at 6 P.M. Friday, December 7, 2018 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland with Bro. Don Park officiating.

Interment will be private. A visitation for Mrs. Windham will be from 5:30 to 6 P.M. Friday, December 7, 2018 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland. Arrangements will be provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center – West Chapel at Oakland.

Mrs. Windham was born July 10, 1938 in St. Joseph, Michigan, the daughter of the late Victor DeFord and Bernice Dill. She was a graduate of Stevensville High School in Michigan and was married November 25, 1993 to Mr. Jerry E. Windham. She was a homemaker throughout her life and was involved with the Mid-South Great Banquet.

Mrs. Windham was most recently a resident of the Oakland, Tennessee area and was a member of Faith United Methodist Church in Oakland. She was a volunteer at Fayette Cares and was also a member of the Beautification Board in Oakland. Mrs. Windham is survived by her husband of 25 years, Mr. Jerry E. Windham of Oakland, TN; two daughters, Janice McMorris (Len) of Boise, ID, Sandra Becker (David) of Bartlett, TN; two sisters, Glenda Willis of Asheville, NC, Bonnie Zitta (Bill) of St. Joseph, MI; four grandsons, Ryan McMorris (Jessica), Matthew Pierce (Kela), Joshua McMorris, Matt Becker; two granddaughters, Jackie Wilson (Dave), Karla David (Brian); her great-grandson, Myles Pierce; and many dearly loved nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Larry Clark. The family requests that memorials be directed to Faith United Methodist Church, 6270 U.S. Highway 64, Oakland, TN 38060.
