Obituary for Madeline Louise Washburn Madeline Louise Washburn, 69, of Martinsville, passed away Sunday, June 10, 2018, at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. She was born August 6, 1948 in Henry County to the late Nathaniel Henry Washburn and Lucy Martin Washburn. Madeline had worked in the main office at Bassett Furniture Industries for many years.

She loved to read and send cards. She is survived by her sister, Carole W. Wall (Jimmy); nephews, Patrick Wall (Robin) and Andrew Wall; great nephew, Nathan Wall; and great niece, Claire Wall. A Graveside Service will be held Thursday, June 14, 2018, at 11:00 AM, at Roselawn Burial Park.
