Mae Weaver Keith, 84, of Wake Forest, passed away June 11, 2018 at Hillside Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Wake County to the late William Henry Weaver and Effie Bailey Weaver. Mrs. Keith was a retired administrative assistant from CP&L/Progress Energy after 30 years of dedicated service and later served in the Technical Library for Corporate Communications.

She was a loving mother, grandmother and will be greatly missed by everyone that knew her. Funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock, Thursday afternoon, June 14, 2018 at Clancy Strickland Wheeler Funeral Home. Burial will follow in New Light Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Keith is survived by her son, Tim Keith & wife Leanne of Wake Forest; granddaughters, Lauren and Kendall Keith both of Wake Forest; nephew, Terry Weaver & wife Donna of Wake Forest; great-niece, Christy Watkins and a great-nephew, Brian Weaver. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elie Bryant “Bill” Keith, Jr.; sisters, Melissa Weaver Robertson and Lillian Blanche Weaver; a brother, William Henry Weaver, Jr. Memorial contributions can be made to Transitions LifeCare, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service from 1:00-2:00 P.M. at Clancy Strickland Wheeler Funeral Home, 1051 Durham Road, Wake Forest, NC.
