Obituary for Magdalen Montgomery Magdalene Bryant Montgomery of Louisville, formerly of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Henry Bryant and Gertrude Cravens Bryant, was born March 27, 1927, in Adair County, Kentucky. She died at 6:40 A.M., Wednesday, June 6, 2018 in Louisville. Age: 91 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of God’s Grace Church in Campbellsville.
Magdalene was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville and Orville’s Restaurant. She united in marriage to William Luther Montgomery and he preceded her in death June 25, 1986. She is survived by three sons and one daughter: Jerry Montgomery and wife, Kathy of Hodgenville, Kenny Montgomery and wife, Bonnie of Shepherdsville, Ricky Montgomery and wife, Lora of Russell Springs and Jackie Cravens and husband, Carl of Louisville; eleven grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; one brother and one sister: Floyd Bryant and wife, Barbara and Louise Corbin of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by one son, Sammy L.
